Vision

Sharedfutures believes that all children have the right to a carefree youth and a safe, loving environment in which to grow up, where they are protected from negative influences. In the first years of a child’s life it plays, learns and discovers. Through these experiences the foundations for adolescence are laid down. This does not come automatically for those children living with or affected by HIV. These children often suffer developmental or psychological effects which have a significant impact on their lives.

Sharedfutures aims to help build a better future for children living with HIV, giving them the chance of a normal youth and an opportunity to grow up to be stable adults who can contribute to the society they live in.
